Beautiful Morning in Dallas
Heavenly, there is no other way to put it. Today's sunrise was spectacular. There are clouds in the air, which kept the heat down, but also gave some great color hues as the sun reflected through them. The birds are singing, flying, soaring, and Ashleigh and I surveyed the colors of morning glories growing in one of the large planters I made last month. The morning glories are snaking their way up the new fencing out back and promising to be something extra special with the passage of time.
Kari and her mom are doing a Komen walk in Plano this morning. I'm contemplating the ways to finish the garage work bench and shelving situation. I'd like to make a quick run to The Home Depot sans kids, and not sure how to do that. None of the kids were up today until 7 a.m. So Molly and I got some good Kari's Paradise time in alone with nature and our Maker. God surely has shined on our backyard. Thank you, Lord.
Last night's movie activity for the kids was National Treasure 2. It was a good film, and I would have to say on par with the first one. The kids enjoyed it and were occupied with the plot line the entire way through. It's a good Friday night movie movie for the kids at home.
