Second Anniversary

Monday Kari and I will celebrate our second anniversary.  Whew.  What a difference two years has made. 

Just a few reflections:  Yosemite honeymoon.  Yosemite with all seven kids in June 07.  Yosemite with all seven kids December 07.  Alabama Gulf Shores with all seven kids July 06.  Finishing the house in Sept. 06.  Finishing the pool in June 07.  Building the patio cover with Kari June-July 07.  Wildflower Festival May 06, 07, and we're thinking we're too tired for tonight.  Leaving DISD.  Going to OKCPS. Leaving OKCPS cos it was nutty and run by a nutty former board president who thinks he's God.  Getting a Great Pyrenees named Molly.  Molly shedding white hair every where in spring and fall. Visits from parents.  Christmas seasons.  Mid-life conversion to a Mac.  Dealing with my ex.  Did I mention seven kids?  Getting an iPod.  Both of us converting to iPhones.  Building the benches and fences and the wishing well in the backyard.  Painting inside the house.  Trips to Chicago and Indiana to see my grandparents.  The loss of my grandfather, and the loss of Kari's.  Her mother's cancer scare. Starting a new, great and fantastic job in Dallas.  Traveling around the country all the time.  My 40th, 41st and 42nd birthdays. 

Yeah, it's been a slow couple of years.
